Edition 25.
25 weeks of bringing industry focused Mixed Reality news to all of our wonderful community.
It would be hard to list all of the prominent events and trends that have taken shape. So, I turned to Reddit, Grok, Clarity and asked many of our trusty LLM friends - what do you think have been the highlights for the VR/AR/XR space over the last 25 weeks".
This is what it told me:
- Asia-Pacific confirmed as the fastest-growing XR region globally
- Projections show massive market expansion in key APAC countries
- China's XR hardware dominance and next-gen pushes
- Enterprise and government support accelerating adoption
- Smart glasses and AR momentum in APAC ecosystems
- Meta's APAC-specific VR insights and game development trends
- Broader immersive tech integration in travel/entertainment
- Overall XR market forecasts reinforcing APAC leadership
It got me thinking. With all of this talk about the burst of the tech bubble, AI is replacing jobs - you know the rest, all of the points mentioned above don't talk about any isolated headline events.
What it showcases is a region that is in rapid ascent in the Mixed Reality space.
You only have to look at Zero Latency's new licensing deal with Sony Pictures.
APAC's importance stems from scaling, manufacturing, and future potential - rather than single headline events.
You might even refer to APAC as the sleeping giant - waiting to be released to the world.
The noise is here. So is adoption.
Make sure you're on the right side of the bed when the sleeping giant wakes up.
Yours virtually,
Reverso
